This Year’s G20 Summit Begins In Bali, Indonesia
President Joko Widodo of Indonesia has urged World Leaders and International Institutions at the the opening of the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia on Tuesday 15th, to ensure that the war in Ukraine is stopped. He reiterated that the world will be difficult to progress when war is not over.
According to Jokowi in a broadcast in the Presidential Youtube, He said when war does not stop, then it will be difficult for the world to be accountable to the next generation. Therefore, Jokowi requested that the G20 member countries do not let the world fall into a cold war. “We shouldn’t tear the world into pieces. We must not let the world fall into a cold war again”
There are a total number of 17 G20 Leaders present at this year’s summit currently being held in Bali, Indonesia.
