Kidnappers Demands N100 Million to Release Doctors

The Nigerian Medical Association, Cross River State branch, has report that two of its medical doctors were kidnapped on Friday 18 Nov, 2022.
The doctors were abducted with two other persons at the Calabar-Ikom Highway, Ikomita precisely. The Medical Association says that the kidnappers has demanded for a N100 million ransom to release the doctors.

Speaking on the issue, the chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, Cross River State branch, Dr Felix Archibong confirms the incident to the press.
Mr Sule Balarabe, the State Commissioner of Police who disclosed this also affirm that his command would make sure that the Medical Doctors are released unharmed and safe.

Due to the frequent attacks by terrorists in the Country, all are reminded to be mindful of places to visit, the time as well as the people in the environment, as public and crowded places are no longer safe.
Meanwhile, the Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Mr Balarabe has assured that the situation will be handled swiftly.
