Dangote Trailer Conveying Herdsmen With Arms And Ammunitions Set Ablaze In Enugu.

Dangote trailer conveying more than 40 herdsmen with their arms and ammunition has been restricted by local security at Eha-Amufu, Isi-uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State.

It was reported that, the trailer which was cleared by several check points was finally stopped by a local checkpoint along Umuhu bridge, when inspected, the youths discovered that the trailer was carrying more than 40 herdsmen with arms and ammunitions.

However, the efforts of the army unit to intervene proved abortive as angry youths started to block the road, seized the herdsmen and set them ablaze together with the trailer.

The state of insecurity in the country is alarming, making people to develop fear and anxiety and wondering where the country is heading to. Everyday, we hear reports of killings, robbery, kidnapping, banditry, extrajudicial killings, unknown gunmen, etc.

Insecurity has claimed thousands of innocent lives and many properties worth millions, thereby subjecting Nigerians to fear and dread.
According to reports, Eha-Amufu community was said to be attacked by herdsmen just two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the number of herdsmen reportedly killed cannot be ascertained as some were said to have escaped.
